Choosing a Pulverizer
A pulverizer grinds dry ingredients such as chilli, turmeric, coriander, cumin, garam masala blends, rice and pulses into fine powder. Masala units, spice traders, and large restaurants and caterers that make their own blends use one to control quality and cost.
Before you order, decide
- Output: how many kilos per hour or per day you need.
- Fineness: the sieve or screen decides particle size, so tell us what you grind.
- Contact parts: stainless steel contact parts matter for food products and for cleaning between spices.
- Dust control: fine spice dust irritates staff and wastes product, so plan for collection and ventilation.
- Power supply: most commercial pulverizers need three-phase power.
Clean the machine thoroughly between different spices so flavours and colours do not mix.
