Choosing a Stainless Steel Plate Rack
After washing, plates and thalis need somewhere to drain and dry upright. A stainless steel plate rack does this in the dishwash area, saving counter space and keeping clean plates off wet surfaces.
Before you order, decide
- Wall-mounted or floor-standing: wall racks above sinks save floor space; floor racks hold more.
- What you stack: plates, thalis, bowls or glasses need different slot sizes.
- Quantity: how many pieces need to dry at the same time after a meal.
- Drip tray: a removable tray below catches the water.
Place the rack between the wash sink and the serving area so clean plates move in one direction.
