Choosing a Bulk Cooking Stove
Biryani handis, stock pots and large kadhais are too heavy and tall for a normal-height range. A bulk cooking stove sits lower to the ground, so a cook can see into and stir a big vessel safely, with a large burner and a strong frame to carry the weight. Caterers, canteens, biryani kitchens and community kitchens depend on them.
Before you order, decide
- Vessel size: the diameter and weight of your largest handi or pot decide the frame and burner.
- Number of burners: a single unit or a line of several.
- Height: low enough to stir comfortably with the vessel on top.
- Gas supply: large burners need enough gas flow, so plan the pipeline and regulator.
Place bulk stoves where large vessels can be moved without crossing busy walkways.
