Choosing a Masala Trolley
On a busy cooking line, the cook should not have to leave the range to find spices. A masala trolley holds a set of removable containers on a mobile stainless steel frame that parks right beside the burners and rolls away for cleaning.
Before you order, decide
- Number of containers: list the spices and pastes used most at that station.
- Container sizes: larger for daily staples like salt, chilli and turmeric; smaller for whole spices.
- Height: the top should sit close to range height so reaching in is easy.
- Lids and lower shelf: lids keep out moisture and splashes; a lower shelf holds oil and backup stock.
We make masala trolleys to your container list, so each station gets exactly what its cook uses.
