Choosing a Platform Trolley
A platform trolley moves heavy loads like sacks of rice and flour, crates of vegetables, gas cylinders, and large vessels from the delivery point to stores and kitchen without anyone carrying them. Hotels, canteens, warehouses and hospital kitchens use them every day.
Before you order, decide
- Load: tell us the heaviest thing you move regularly. The platform, frame and castors are chosen around it.
- Platform size: big enough for your largest crate but small enough for your narrowest door and lift.
- Castors: polyurethane wheels are quieter and kinder to floors; have at least two with brakes for ramps.
- Handle: a push handle at a comfortable height reduces strain.
Stainless steel does not rust in wet stores or cold rooms, which is why it outlasts painted trolleys in kitchens.
