Choosing a Hot Food Trolley
Food that leaves the kitchen hot often reaches the table lukewarm. A heated hot food trolley keeps meals at serving temperature while they travel to banquet halls, hospital wards or dining areas some distance away.
Before you order, decide
- Capacity: how many GN pans or meal trays per trip.
- Heating: thermostat-controlled heating that can be switched on before loading.
- Insulation: double-wall construction holds heat on longer journeys.
- Movement: large, quiet castors and a push handle; check doors, ramps and lifts along the route.
Work out how many trolleys you need from your longest route and busiest meal time.
