Choosing a Shawarma Machine
A shawarma machine turns a vertical stack of marinated meat slowly in front of radiant burners, so the outer layer cooks evenly and can be shaved off as orders come in. Restaurants, takeaway counters and food courts use it as both a cooking tool and a crowd-puller.
Before you order, decide
- Gas or electric: gas suits high volume; electric is easier where gas is not allowed, such as some malls.
- Burners and height: choose based on the size of meat stack you load.
- Motorised rotation: keeps cooking even without constant turning.
- Drip tray: should lift out for easy cleaning.
Place it where customers can see it but away from walkways, and keep the area well ventilated.
