Choosing a Rice Boiler
Cooking rice for hundreds of people in open vessels is slow, uneven and risky to drain. A commercial rice boiler cooks large batches evenly and, in tilting models, pours out cooked rice without anyone lifting a heavy vessel. Industrial canteens, hostels, hospitals, caterers and community kitchens use them.
Before you order, decide
- Batch size: tell us how many kilos of raw rice you cook per sitting.
- Heating: steam-heated boilers suit kitchens that already have a steam boiler; gas-fired units work almost anywhere.
- Tilting or fixed: tilting makes emptying safer and faster for large batches.
- Utilities: plan the water inlet, drain and gas or steam connection before installation.
The same equipment often cooks dal, khichdi and upma too, so it earns its space in a busy canteen.
